Description

A small limestone tablet with a Hebrew inscription listing agricultural activities by month, one of the oldest known Hebrew inscriptions (10th century BC).

Biblical Significance

Demonstrates Hebrew literacy during the period of Solomon, when 1 Kings records that Gezer was given to Solomon as a wedding gift from Pharaoh (1 Kings 9:16).
