A collection of ostraca (inscribed pottery shards) found at Tell ed-Duweir, ancient Lachish. Written in Hebrew, they date to the last days before Nebuchadnezzar's conquest.
Biblical Significance
Provide a firsthand account of the final days of Judah before the Babylonian destruction, corroborating the setting described in Jeremiah 34:7.
